    Since those silly Chinese Foscam producers completely backdoored you guys with direct sales. How about creating the best multi cam brand platform?!

    Not that you are not on your way, but we have Yi Cameras that are hot on Amazon right now and aren’t going away with their rating and price point. Can you make them compatible?

    Add https support for cams in iOS App. At the moment it's only possible in Adroid to connect cameras via https.

  6. Several suggestions and reports

    I'm pasting my iOS App Store review here to make sure it gets heard. The App Store has a dendency to over analyze reviews...

    This app is great! I was able to set up my camera within a couple minutes. It scanned my network and found them all and preloaded the correct IP information. I am also able to connect remotely with my current network configuration.

    I have it four stars because I have a couple concerns. Here they are;

    1. I do not see the option to use HTTPS when connecting. This is a big deal. Please add this ASAP.…

    UPDATE Mar 2016: wow. Sometimes, the best plans are up for funny. All of the things stated below are true but we are in the midst of a proper rewrite of the iOS codebase – so it may take a little longer. Humble apologies.

    Thanks for the feedback here – want to make sure you get the answers:

    1. HTTPS is on the roadmap – sometime in October.
    2. On the 2132 and 5222 – we do support the PTZ. But we are working on the other features.
    3. If you are using a VPN, then you are always on your local network if they are on the same network – so you do not need the external details – unless you wish to access them through your home network providers router.

  10. Foscam FI9900P add buttons for mute listen sound and IR function

    Under IOS the Owler interface for the Foscam FI9828p camera offers buttons for push to Talk, mute sound and toggle IR mode.
    For newly added FI9900 cams only push to talk is visible.
    This is completely separate from the the PTZ interface on/off setting.

    I noticed that When I changed my FI9828 cam in the network for a FI9900 with keeping the same settings for Owler, all interface functions stayed available and everything was funtioning well with the FI9900 cam.

    I really like your application. However I have 5 older model cameras (F18910W) that I cannot control the infrared lights on. Just curious if you will ever be updating the application to add this option for older model cameras.

    Would even be happy to pay for this update.

  17. Add a 12 hour option on notif. snooze

    Please add a 12 hour option on the motion detection snooze feature. Most people with 9-5 jobs come home in the evening and are home until the morning, 8 hrs isn't enough and 24 is too long.

    I also voted for the motion detection scheduler idea but I figured the 12hr snooze would be a little easier to implement until a scheduler is available. Thanks.

  18. Add option to change aspect ratio.

    Would like to be able to change aspect ratio. My camera's are 4:3 and OWLR shows what looked like 16:9 and cuts off the top of these video feed.

  20. Set alert periods

    Would be great to set alert periods ather than always on except when you trigger a snooze. For example I don't want alerts during the night in the room my pet wanders around in but I do want alarms during the day in this room when I am out.
