  3. Several suggestions and reports

    I'm pasting my iOS App Store review here to make sure it gets heard. The App Store has a dendency to over analyze reviews...

    This app is great! I was able to set up my camera within a couple minutes. It scanned my network and found them all and preloaded the correct IP information. I am also able to connect remotely with my current network configuration.

    I have it four stars because I have a couple concerns. Here they are;

    1. I do not see the option to use HTTPS when connecting. This is a big deal. Please add this ASAP.…

    UPDATE Mar 2016: wow. Sometimes, the best plans are up for funny. All of the things stated below are true but we are in the midst of a proper rewrite of the iOS codebase – so it may take a little longer. Humble apologies.

    Thanks for the feedback here – want to make sure you get the answers:

    1. HTTPS is on the roadmap – sometime in October.
    2. On the 2132 and 5222 – we do support the PTZ. But we are working on the other features.
    3. If you are using a VPN, then you are always on your local network if they are on the same network – so you do not need the external details – unless you wish to access them through your home network providers router.

    I suggest that the OWLR app Foscam FN3108XE 720P Security Surveillance NVR Kit. The current Foscam NVR app requires you to have a online account and you can only view the camera on 1 device at a time. Please put this on your list of new products. Thank you.

  5. Foscam FI9900P add buttons for mute listen sound and IR function

    Under IOS the Owler interface for the Foscam FI9828p camera offers buttons for push to Talk, mute sound and toggle IR mode.
    For newly added FI9900 cams only push to talk is visible.
    This is completely separate from the the PTZ interface on/off setting.

    I noticed that When I changed my FI9828 cam in the network for a FI9900 with keeping the same settings for Owler, all interface functions stayed available and everything was funtioning well with the FI9900 cam.

  7. IOS support for Amcrest IPM -721S. You guys are great - I know you’ll get around to this soon.

    this camera works well with the Amcrest app, however I would like to have all my cameras (Foscam, DLink, Amcrest) viewable using just one app - ideally OWLR

  13. Add option to change aspect ratio.

    Would like to be able to change aspect ratio. My camera's are 4:3 and OWLR shows what looked like 16:9 and cuts off the top of these video feed.

  20. Add option to customise PT controls

    Can you provide options to specify/ customise camera movement direction for gesture and screen button controls. On my cameras, left/right swipe gesture and up/down buttons move the cameras in the correct direction. However, up/down swipe gesture and left/right buttons move the cameras in the wrong (opposite) direction.
