  1. Android App lacks PTZ control for Foscam R2(V4)

The current (as of April 2018) Android app lacks PTZ controls for the Foscam R2 (at least for my V4).

Any chance of getting this added? My other, really old Foscam cameras work fine (w/ PTZ).

    Thanks for considering!

  3. Support uniview ip cameras

Support for the new Uniview ip cameras as well as hikvision and Dahua. They all support the Onvif protocol so supporting the Onvif would let these ip cameras as well as many others work.

  4. Allow resizing of the individual camera views on the main window

I am currently only viewing 2 cameras and they sit in tiny windows at the top left of the screen, why can’t these windows be reliable or auto best fit the available screen space, this should apply to both landscape or portrate, for instance with only 2 cameras having the iPad in portrate mode should fill the screen with the 2 camera video feeds one above the other.

  5. Possible to support D-Link DCS-8000LH?

The new D-Link DCS-8000LH was not discovered by OWLR.
    http://us.dlink.com/products/cameras/mini-hd-wi-fi-camera-dcs-8000lh/

The camera has no wired ethernet so the initial configuration is done over Bluetooth BLE using a smartphone app.

I could not find that there is any web administration interface available for configuration.
But here is what I could reverse engineer about its network capabilities.

  6. add support for camera preset positions

Some (all?) Foscam cameras allow you to configure preset positions that you can select to aim the camera. Can Owlr offer support for this feature?

  7. Wansview q1

Support for all wansview cameras. They (wansview) are working hard on fixing firmware bugs, but the iOS app lets it down unfortunatly, especially playback of files. I would love to have the solid support of OWLR with my wansviews.

  13. Support Foscam FI9928P with pan & optical zoom

Foscam FI9928P is not listed as a supported camera but the OWLR app for the iPad allows gesture control for both pan and tilt of the Foscam FI9928P camera and works great!

The OWLR app for the Android version does not show PTZ controls or allow gesture control of pan and tilt. Both apps do not allow optical zoom.

  15. Add Yi Dome cameras asap!

Since those silly Chinese Foscam producers completely backdoored you guys with direct sales. How about creating the best multi cam brand platform?!

Not that you are not on your way, but we have Yi Cameras that are hot on Amazon right now and aren’t going away with their rating and price point. Can you make them compatible?

  18. Support for Amcrest 3MP 2K PTZ Model IP3M-941B -- not connecting with Android Amcrest/Foscam app

The current apps as of 2017-Nov-27 do not seem to support connecting to the Amcrest IP3M-941 indoor PTZ camera, though it is to be listed on the "Supported Cameras" spreadsheet.

Automatic Scan does not find the camera. Manual configuration sees it, but gives the following Error Message: "Oops... Sorry, looks like the camera you are trying to connect too isn't supported." Camera has the (only) latest firmware available at this time.

Thanks OWLR for all you do!

  19. VPN compatibility

I use a VPN to connect to my home. Once connected, the private IP address of the camera becomes available to Owlr, even though I am not connected via WiFi.
However, when I am not connected with WiFi, Owlr will only try to use the 'external' address.
It would be nice for the App to send an ARP request first to check if the internal address is available, before falling back to the external address.
