Please register as i can use the camera with any app3 votes
We will be launching Video alerts soon. Watch the space!
In my case, I would like to see several cameras at same time, where I can choose the grid type. For example, 2 cams will be in full screen where it will be divided in 2 parts in iPad.13 votes
The interface gets more and more cluttered with each release.
First we got "motion detection" button that cannot be hidden. Now "push to talk" joined the pack. This is especially troublesome because I am genuinely worried that I might push it by accident and wake up the baby. Please let users hide buttons they don't want to use!3 votes
This is really good point. In the future we’d like a more complete settings page with the ability to turn off UI elements.
Right now the control panel only has a "snapshot" button. No PTT/IR control button available even though the camera supports that.7 votes
This should be an easy fix
You can reset the clock in the web interface – we may include an option to do this in app in the far future
1)Possibility to change whole camera settings, as presented in the web interface.
2)Possibility to play/download video stored on internal sd card1 vote
This is in the pipeline. All the best!
Add support for Microsoft LifeCam4 votes
Add a schedule to enable / disable motion notification. 7 day hourly type would be great or a 5/2 for weekdays and weekends.18 votes
As with all features, on the roadmap.
Please add support for GeoVision IP cameras.
Any way to remove the public webcams from the app? It gives me a HUGE false since of security to see all these camera feeds along side my personal cameras.42 votes
We have had too many people complain if we remove the World Cameras – but we will likely offer it in the Advanced Settings in the future.
Support Foscam R4 on ios.
Enable Push to talk - for Foscam R4.
We will be looking at this after the scripting changes to bring it more in like with the way Android handles scripts.
Original post - "External access through OpenVPN would be very appreciated."
We get quite a few requests to support VPNs in general. Feel free to add your vote here!61 votes
Note: Changed Request title
Definitely something we will be adding in the future.
Workaround/ fix for Android:
VPN are not supported because of the way our app binds to the port.
I personally use a VPN on my Android phone; the way I get around the issue is discovery and setup the camera’s without my VPN turned on. Once you’ve done this and all the camera’s are setup, you can then switch your VPN back on.
I’ve only tested this on my phone (Samsung S6), as the other devices in the office do not have VPN setup on them, so this isn’t a guaranteed fix.
When watching a camera, swipe left and right to view the next or previous camera when multiple cameras are available.26 votes
We are considering this feature – the real challenge is that some of our users love the pan/tilt on the camera via gestures – so this makes it more difficult. But we will seriously consider this.
The ability to use the PIP feature that launched with iOS 9. This way I can watch a camera while multitasking. Thanks25 votes
Would like the ability to use the P2P UID and P2P port address for port forwarding for Foscam cameras.11 votes
Foscam has a lock-down on this feature – they do it very differently than other providers and may have some challenges supporting it without their help. We also are worried about using P2P since it means that the cameras continuously communicate to the outside world. Some people have expressed concern about this: https://krebsonsecurity.com/2016/02/this-is-why-people-fear-the-internet-of-things/
Would like a feature where the sounds will mute under a certain threshold. That will allow to monitor a baby for example leaving the phone for the night with the app open and not wake up from every little noise the baby makes.18 votes
We do plan on this “audio squelch” — the challenge has been the time and focus to deliver on this feature. We have an upcoming update that should add some power to the player on iOS which can make the squelch much easier.
It could be annoying that the camera pan-tilt position changes because you accidentally swiped the screen while viewing the camera, especially when the camera is slow to react to the pan-tilt commands sent to it (not sure if it's communication delay or due to the app or the camera) which makes it very difficult to reset to the original pan-tilt position.
With the joystick there, it's kind of redundant to have another way of controlling the pan-tilt. It might be nice for someone, but having an option of enabling/disabling the gesture control will be nice for everyone.26 votes
Please see the discussion on swiping to get to the next camera. It is likely we will support this feature to enable the earlier one.
Would like to initiate a reboot from the app11 votes
Couldn’t agree more, more than likely a long term planned feature.
