Foscam C1 support.
the snapshot view of the foscam C1 works when you're in multiple camera view. But when you tap to go into the camera, it just loads and spins. Picture does not load up.

Yep 554 on newer cams 80 on older for streaming

Apparently the optional streaming port is only available on android. It seems iOS does not have this feature for the extra streaming port.

Because the OWLR app allows for a port and an optional streaming port, I created 2 port forwards in the router. 1 for port 88 for the snapshot and one for 554 (rtsp) for the streaming port. Kind of annoying, but works like a charm.

I have the same problem with my C1 where the Live feed doesn't work on the http port, and the opposite on the rtsp port, where the multi cam preview doesn't work. I have tried multiple Main stream video settings with no luck.
What I find especially odd is how my C1 Lite V2 works fine with OWLR, and it uses the same firmware package version as my C1. Both cameras were newly purchased this month.

Hi there, I have the same problem. My camera is the Foscam FI9900p V3. I can see the camera on the multicamera view but when I press on the camera. it just loads and spins. Picture does not load up. My 9821 works fine. I will appreciate any advise.

I have tried another OWLR app and a foscam app, and I still cant get a live view on either of my Foscam C1 cameras.
Works fine with the two Foscam Baby Cams I have, but all i get with the C1's is the snapshot view.
Has this error been acknowledged yet? -

I can verify that this issue still remains, using the C1.

Anyone get this to work? I am still seeing the issue.

That's it! Port forward to the RTSP port got LIVE view working. Unfortunately, though, this means that the thumbnail view doesn't work (probably since it's expecting an HTTP port).
Since a single port can't service both the RTSP and HTTP connections, this is an issue.
Anybody able to work around this?

OK, I did some experiments, and it seems OWLR is using C1's RTSP feed.
So, the best way to solve remote live video.
1. Go to C1's web interface to change RTSP port (under Network -> Ports)
2. Setup port forwarding on the router. The external port needs to be the same as C1's RTSP port.
3. Remove and re-add C1. -

I'm wondering if the LIVE page is using RTSP video feed. If so, I need to port forwarding RTSP port to enable the live view from remote. Maybe a separate "RTSP" port field should be provided on camera's network setting page?

@OWLR - Yes it does seem to be a strange issue, I was incorrect about the FI9900p also having the problem, that seems to be working fine now.
I have tried reinstalling the app and removing/adding the C1 multiple times but no luck. This is on an iPhone 6. Also tried on an iPhone 5s. Using both the generic and foscam apps.
I am assuming owlr connects using the http port and not onvif or rtsp? As those ports aren't forwarded on the router.
Strangely if I add the camera using the search function and then manually add the external ddns it will work locally, but not remote, and after a while stops working altogether until I re-add. It is a very odd issue. This is on the latest build .9.9
Apart from that the app is brilliant albeit a few lacking features which is to be expected with such a new app. The interface is refreshing when compared to what else is out there. I have found it is a bit slower to connect compared to some of the oldies and streaming has a decent second or so delay even on local network, but the stream quality does seem to be better than some others. Probably on par with the new foscam app. Just without the annoying cloud login!

@Tom - Surprised to hear about the C1 problems - we have had a lot of good feedback on the success of the app right now. If it is still happening, and you have the newest OWLR at the time of this post (0.9.9), you might wish to delete the C1 from the list and reinstall.
The OWLR: Foscam app is currently in 0.9.8 and we are intentionally waiting to launch to get feedback on the OWLR app to check if all is working well. If so, then OWLR: Foscam will be released by Monday.
If you wish to join the Beta group to test the newest app with the most recent features - send an email to betaapp@owlr.com and we can add you to the list.
I assume you meant will we support presets (in the roadmap), alert push notifications (in the roadmap) and Push-to-Talk (it should work with all of your cams).

Hi, I am having the same problem with both a Foscam C1 & a Foscam FI9900P. I also have a FI9821v2 which works perfectly. The snapshots work for all cameras and update every second or so, but only the 9821 connects to a video feed once pressed.
Weirdly I also have the same issue with the new Foscam app, however with the original Foscam app all cameras work and also in IP Cam Viewer they all work correctly.
I have all three cameras using different http ports and all are forwarded on the router and can be remotely accessed through a PC with no issues. Oddly the cameras have a connection to be able to view snapshots etc. but get stuck on the video feed.
Also is there any future plans to support ptt presets and alert push notifications for Foscam cameras?
Thanks
