Original post - 2 way audio for Foscam-Maria like the C-1 and C-2

Hey Daniel here,

I'v merged all the requests for PTT for specific camera's into one, see the status for updates.

    Here's another vote to get PTT working with the FI9831P and R2 + V2,V3,V4 cameras. All of the R2's I've found are at least V3.

    I see many inquiries, but not replies. I love this app minus the fact that I can't seem to use PTT for my new Foscam R2 camera. Is this in the works? Please inform. Thanks!

    Had the same issue with Push-to-talk no working externally, although using wifi in the house still works. It used to work perfectly though. Any idea how to fix this issue for Foscam 8910?

    Push-to-talk was working fine until a recent update. Is push to talk now broken for Foscam?

    My OWLR app has been working fine right along on my Android, but the PTT suddenly stopped working on both mine and my husband's phones...thought it was the camera itself (Foscam FI8910W), but I got another app to work (but I don't like it as well). Any suggestions?

    Best app but PTT isnt working on my FI9816P camera. Still looking forward on this feature.

    this is, by far, the best app that I've ever used for my foscams. I just purchased an R2 and PTT is not functional, but it is functional for my 8910w. Any ETA or updates if and when PTT will be available on the R2? Thanks!

    PTT does not work for android on my foscam R2 and C2. The app its amazing!

    I think it's dependent on camera model as well. I can do 2 way audio on one Foscam model but not my Foscam R2 which also has two way audio but it's not available in the app.

    Does PTT work at all with android and foscam? I can get it to work great with iphone, just not android.

    they even offer sound detection, which potentially makes them great babymonitors. if only there was an app that supports notifications on sound alerts...
