When watching a camera, swipe left and right to view the next or previous camera when multiple cameras are available.26 votes
We are considering this feature – the real challenge is that some of our users love the pan/tilt on the camera via gestures – so this makes it more difficult. But we will seriously consider this.
The ability to use the PIP feature that launched with iOS 9. This way I can watch a camera while multitasking. Thanks25 votes
Would like the ability to use the P2P UID and P2P port address for port forwarding for Foscam cameras.11 votes
Foscam has a lock-down on this feature – they do it very differently than other providers and may have some challenges supporting it without their help. We also are worried about using P2P since it means that the cameras continuously communicate to the outside world. Some people have expressed concern about this: https://krebsonsecurity.com/2016/02/this-is-why-people-fear-the-internet-of-things/
It could be annoying that the camera pan-tilt position changes because you accidentally swiped the screen while viewing the camera, especially when the camera is slow to react to the pan-tilt commands sent to it (not sure if it's communication delay or due to the app or the camera) which makes it very difficult to reset to the original pan-tilt position.
With the joystick there, it's kind of redundant to have another way of controlling the pan-tilt. It might be nice for someone, but having an option of enabling/disabling the gesture control will be nice for everyone.26 votes
Please see the discussion on swiping to get to the next camera. It is likely we will support this feature to enable the earlier one.
It should be possible to select one of the available cameras to be the favorite one. This camera would be viewed in full-screen mode, every time the App is started. Ideally without the OWLR startup message.
For example, if one have a camera installed at the front door of the house. It would be nice to see, who the bell ring, just with one fingertip on the App symbol. This should be possible, as fast as possible.7 votes
Thank you for the request. More votes will be more helpful.
for example, instead of viewing camera feeds one after the other, maybe an option to view in blocks of 422 votes
We are looking into this – at the present time, we have to focus on generating some of the more complex features while raising money. We will get to other layout options on the phone and on the tablets in the coming year.
1. Provide a true optical zoom function for these cameras. The current app only has a low-quality digital zoom, but the cameras have a 3X optical zoom.
2. Provide full brightness/contrast/sharpness/color controls. The cameras are almost useless looking outdoors without this.42 votes
Wow – did not know this. We will look into this in the coming months. If there are others who need this, please add your support.
Incorporate Touch ID to access apps preventing unauthorized access while the phone is in unlock mode12 votes
Interesting idea, we will look into it. Probably will be a longer term idea
Will you update app to support D-link baby cam DSC-850L7 votes
If this request receives more votes, this can be considered. All the best!
I suggest that the OWLR app Foscam FN3108XE 720P Security Surveillance NVR Kit. The current Foscam NVR app requires you to have a online account and you can only view the camera on 1 device at a time. Please put this on your list of new products. Thank you.11 votes
Thank you for the request and suggestion. If this is voted by more clients, it can stand a chance of being added, keep voting.
Please support iCamera Network's iCamera 1000.16 votes
If the camera is voted by many clients, we will definitely consider supporting it. You now know the drill. Cheers!

I'm using Lorex MCNC100. It supports RTSP video feed.
The password for video seed is set separately. It also requires camera ID as part of the URL.
The complete URL is rtsp://<address>:554/<camera_id>.<play_video_password>
Video is mp4v (H264). Audio is PCM MU-LAW (mlaw).
If OWLR can add generic RTSP support, it is good enough to expend the list of supported devices.22 votes
We are currently completing a rewrite of the app – and will investigate which one to include next.
Current there seems to be over 50 preset featured cameras, and from what I can tell, they never change. I'd like to change that to 10 and remove the others. And then have them rotate the 10 daily so I could favorite those I like.1 vote
just to be able to connect and stream live ip camera from a remote location is a definate plus for me1 vote
Did you know that you can get thee MJPG stream of a live IP Camera and capture it in the Favorites channel?
I have a wifi network that isn't connected to the Internet but OWLR won't let me add cameras on that network.5 votes
Looking into this. We discovered it and are working on solving it.
Hikvision is the worlds largest manufacturer of video surveillance cameras.90 votes
UPDATE 6/12/2016: We are looking into Hikvision cameras – but it will likely be in 2017.
This is a reasonably priced outdoor camera. I've started moving away from the old cameras and I hope to continue using this great app for the new Escam QD900 cams.
We will look – but right now, it is low on the priority list.
Please support IPv6 addresses in Foscam app. My ISP only allows incoming connections over IPv6, not IPv4! Support IPv6 DNS AAAA records.
Please support IPv6 addresses in Foscam app. My ISP only allows incoming connections over IPv6, not IPv4! Support IPv6 DNS AAAA records for domain name lookup as well. My IPv6 router will port forward to the internal IPv4 local camera address.6 votes
We will be investigating this in the second quarter of 2016.
