my motion detection is notworking

Has there been any update on this request? The Foscam-provided viewer is becoming increasingly less usable. The OWLR Foscam IP Viewer is more stable and provides better video quality, but lacks the ability to toggle the in-camera (Foscam C1) motion detection/alerting feature. I appreciate that OWLR provides Motion Alerts as part of its cloud service, but I would rather use the in-camera capability on an as-required basis.

One camera send motion alerts...other camera doesn’t offer anywhere in the settings....cameras are identical

Several people comment about some cameras don't have options to set motion alerts. So do I but we see no answer or way to fix this issue Owl whynot?

I just set up owlr with three cameras on my owlr app. All are set up properly.
2 of my cameras have the option to set up motion alerts while the third one does not have that option.
Is there a max number of cameras that can have motion alert options on the app?

I would be nice if your motion triggered before someone walked out of view OR maybe lasted 2 seconds more so we capture something before they move totally into view.

When will the IPad App support also motion detection and cloud storage or on a Synology NAS?

that motion alert push notification should also be able to trigger the wake-up from stand-by (so that the display is normally dark and only turns on when a motion alarm occurs)

my use case would be an android tablet which has normally the display shut off and only wakes up when a motion alert occurs (and then showing either the taken pictures or better the live video)

Alerts is VERY important so that I receive some kind of notice immediately if any intruders enter my home.
Without this function is it mostly kind of useless for the purpose for "home alarm / home security".
I have requested this several times before to the customer service - but absolutely nothing has been set up yet.
I have had your app for almost a year now, and from Day One it has been mentioned in the app: "Alerts - coming soon."
What does OWLR mean by soon?
Is it one year, two years or when?
All the others apps have this function - why don't you fix the issue so the customers is fully satisfied?
I love your app and it is easy to set up and use... Therefore I really hope that the last issue regarding "alerts" will be Solvej ASAP.. Thank you..

not just a motion event, but any event would be great.
such as sound, temperature, motion etc. I suspect this will be a camera specific option though since not every camera has those sensors.

please add motion detection and notifications for d-Link on ios. clearly they have no idea how to make firmware.

I like this feature. If it can run at the background, it will be the best.

The most convenient would be a widget for switching all cameras at once. I use dlink 932 and 5009.

I would really like this app to be able to record motion and notify me thru e-mail .This app is great but that would put it over the top!!!!!!!!

Yes, let that switch toggle the cam to send off the eMails with attached pictures and/or upload to the ftp server. Then I can leave the house and, with a few taps, enable all the cams I have.

I completely agree at this point It will be very helpful if a toggle button is added to the app where we can hear the sound from the cam.
