We will add all of the following cameras if more votes come through for the request!
In addition to Snoozing, it would be nice to schedule when there shouldn't be motion so we only receive alerts during that time.31 votes
That’s a great suggestion, please add votes to it so that it can be prioritised as an additional feature.
Would be great to set alert periods ather than always on except when you trigger a snooze. For example I don't want alerts during the night in the room my pet wanders around in but I do want alarms during the day in this room when I am out.9 votes
Scheduled alerts are planned and will be implemented soon.

Wouldn't it be great to have a SD-card playback option? For example for the Foscam FI9853EP148 votes
We do plan to offer it – we are working on the architecture to support it soon
support for Insteon 2864-222 HD IP Camera for iphone5 votes
We are looking into this
Allow user to select a grid type (4, 6, 9) cameras and show them in landscape view in parallel.61 votes
This is planned for DVR/NVR support and should have it for Android first and then iOS.
The Foscam app seems to support it but I like your software better. Your app tries to change the port else it fails but the Foscam app seems to work (fails frequently).9 votes
Thank you for the suggestion and request. Noted!
For sd card enabled cameras build a control to review the last x (configurable) minutes of video. Would also be nice to play back at something other than real time.6 votes
This will be effected soon if it receives enough votes.
E.g Zoom for the R240 votes
Currently re-writing all of our scripts. Once we’ve done this should be easy to add this feature.
Please add a 12 hour option on the motion detection snooze feature. Most people with 9-5 jobs come home in the evening and are home until the morning, 8 hrs isn't enough and 24 is too long.
I also voted for the motion detection scheduler idea but I figured the 12hr snooze would be a little easier to implement until a scheduler is available. Thanks.9 votes
Actually being added as a snooze feature for multiple times.
Would be great if we could "color in" a part of the camera's view where we want motion alerts to come from. That way I could exclude the window with the waving branches, or the busy street out front.45 votes
This feature is planned as well – it requires a bit of work on both the camera interface, our app interface and our server interface. But it is in the pipeline for more control.
You folks just added alerts. Great, but what we really need for Foscam cameras is the ability to turn certain settings on / off like motion detect so we can send our own alerts through the camera's own funtionality. Turn it on when needed, off when not. A couple other basic setting switches would also be nice. Not sure why I would pay a monthly fee to send alerts through your system? Add needed functionalty and I'll gladly pay for the app.4 votes
Thanks for that. We are working on Motion Alerts Scheduler. Coming soon.
We will be launching Video alerts soon. Watch the space!
Right now the control panel only has a "snapshot" button. No PTT/IR control button available even though the camera supports that.7 votes
This should be an easy fix
1)Possibility to change whole camera settings, as presented in the web interface.
2)Possibility to play/download video stored on internal sd card1 vote
This is in the pipeline. All the best!
Add a schedule to enable / disable motion notification. 7 day hourly type would be great or a 5/2 for weekdays and weekends.18 votes
As with all features, on the roadmap.
Please add support for GeoVision IP cameras.
Original title - Viewing cameras without needing adminstrator rights
Hey Daniel here - Just merged this idea with few duplicates, makes it easer for my to reply to everyone. I've also tweaked the title to make it more generic for all cameras rather than just Foscams.
It should be possible to set up/view Foscam camera streams for example as "operator" or "guest" as well and not only with "administrator" rights. This would be much more secure.77 votes
I have merged a few other ideas into this one, makes it easier for me to reply to you all!
We know this is a potential problem for some – we have needed to revamp the authentication features for the iOS app – which we are still addressing. It definitely something we are looking into though!
- Don't see your idea?
