Detect if OWLR is on local LAN or remote network and connect using appropriate method
I think the app tries to use external IP (requiring forwarded ports from router, which my router seems to not always leave open) even if I'm on the same local LAN as my cameras. Would be nice if it recognized that and just connected with the internal IP
Please check your app now – we believe we have pushed out a solution to this problem on both sets of apps.

I guess the app stored the Wifi SSID as "internal" when setup the camera.
In my situation, I have both 2.4GHz (for coverage) and 5GHz (for less collision) enabled, with different SSIDs. My phone can connect to either network depending on which room I'm staying. Currently, one of them is treated as "internal" and the other is "external". And I'm not getting video feed on the "external" SSID.
Probably it is better to let us select multiple SSIDs as "internal".

Yes please! This functionality is killing me. It seems to only use the 'local' address when you're on the same wireless AP as the camera. If I'm on a different AP on the same network, it tries to use the external address and fails.

glad to hear this is in the plans :) Will make OWLR even faster on local connections
