I can see how it would be useful, may need some feedback on how it would be implemented. Great idea more long term though.

Foscam has a lock-down on this feature – they do it very differently than other providers and may have some challenges supporting it without their help. We also are worried about using P2P since it means that the cameras continuously communicate to the outside world. What you could do is have a stereo like sound meter under each camera. You could see it moving and know that there was sound emitting in that area, without having to listen to each camera at once.
