    UPDATE 6/12/2016:

    We are aware of this – and it will require a rework of the video player to support the audio separate from the video and to be able to keep the battery use at a minimum.

    We actually have someone looking at this right now. So we are one step closer to implementing this feature

    This is a feature I am looking for as well. Is there a way to track status of it being implemented to know once available?
