2. Android App lacks PTZ control for Foscam R2(V4)

   The current (as of April 2018) Android app lacks PTZ controls for the Foscam R2 (at least for my V4).

   Any chance of getting this added? My other, really old Foscam cameras work fine (w/ PTZ).

3. Toggle Motion Detection

   I use OWLR with the Foscam C1 HD camera. Your app works very well, much better than the paid apps too.

   I use the C1 as a baby monitor and would like to toggle the Motion/Sound detecion from the OWLR app

   The only way to do that now is to open the focam app-click on the camera-settings-alert-activity detection/sound detection-on/off

   Also Video recording/iPad support will be awesome.

   UPDATE 6/12/2016: We are looking into Hikvision cameras – but it will likely be in 2017.

6. Access to all Foscam video streams (main, sub, etc)

   Allow for the Detailed view to support the high bit-rate stream and the substream (lower bit rate) when accessing from some control either on the screen or via the Settings.

9. Support Foscam FI9928P with pan & optical zoom

   Foscam FI9928P is not listed as a supported camera but the OWLR app for the iPad allows gesture control for both pan and tilt of the Foscam FI9928P camera and works great!

   The OWLR app for the Android version does not show PTZ controls or allow gesture control of pan and tilt. Both apps do not allow optical zoom.

10. Listen to audio for multiple cameras simultaneously

    When using cameras as monitors for multiple childrens rooms it would be helpful to be able to hear both (or more than 2) simultaneously from the multi-image screen.

    I can see how it would be useful, may need some feedback on how it would be implemented. Great idea more long term though.

11. Foscam FI9826 Camera Features

    1. Provide a true optical zoom function for these cameras. The current app only has a low-quality digital zoom, but the cameras have a 3X optical zoom.

    2. Provide full brightness/contrast/sharpness/color controls. The cameras are almost useless looking outdoors without this.

    The new D-Link DCS-8000LH was not discovered by OWLR.

    I could not find that there is any web administration interface available for configuration.

    The Wansview 1080p NCM625GA is a confirmed camera that has a similar price point to newer Foscam IP camera's but without the terrible firmware issues. The Wansview NCM625GA is sold on amazon as Wansview 1080P 2.0MP WiFi Wireless IP Security Camera, Full HD.

    The Wansview is known to work easily with Zoneminder on Linux in addition to Mac and Window's platforms.     UPDATE 6/12/2016: In all honesty we are focusing on the iOS app and the Android app. In the future this may be supported but not for a while.

15. Ability to save All settings (a backup file) to Dropbox or iCloud.

    I would like the ability to Save a backup to Dropbox and iCloud. This way, if you corrupt your settings, or your better half wants to easily configure her phone, you can Import the saved backup.

18. Allow resizing of the individual camera views on the main window

    I am currently only viewing 2 cameras and they sit in tiny windows at the top left of the screen, why can’t these windows be reliable or auto best fit the available screen space, this should apply to both landscape or portrate, for instance with only 2 cameras having the iPad in portrate mode should fill the screen with the 2 camera video feeds one above the other.

20. I wish there was a button to disable notifications rom all camera when entering my house and reenable all cameras when leaving the house.

    A quick to disable/enable all cameras’ notifications when entering/leaving the house—like turning a security system on or off.
