UPDATE Mar 2016: wow. Sometimes, the best plans are up for funny. All of the things stated below are true but we are in the midst of a proper rewrite of the iOS codebase – so it may take a little longer. Humble apologies.

Thanks for the feedback here – want to make sure you get the answers:
1. HTTPS is on the roadmap – sometime in October.
2. On the 2132 and 5222 – we do support the PTZ. But we are working on the other features.
3. If you are using a VPN, then you are always on your local network if they are on the same network – so you do not need the external details – unless you wish to access them through your home network providers router.

UPDATE 6/12/2016: We have the scripts for presets for most of our supported cameras. We will implement them soon but there needs to be a bit of refactoring before we get them in!

Maybe instead of using the cameras motion alert features, could the app have Motion alert settings when in "no-sleep" mode. Having the ability to push a notification to the phone or via email. That's would awesome.
