Maybe, it depends how many users actually want this and how much effort it would take on our behalf. Even so, this will not be the case for a long time.

has the ability to rotate image 90 degrees and not just mirror or flip image
I have a camera that is mounted on a vertical wall and would like a setting so that the image could be seen rotated so up is up and not across. Also, can you add an 8 way movement control?
7 votesHi!
This is a really cool suggestion, and we’ll investigate to see whether adding this is possible.
In the meantime you can add your support for this feature by taking our survey here: https://goo.gl/forms/sX5mFT8pe5V1IMc92

Add a sound alert feature
To make use of cameras as baby and pet monitors, a sound alert would be greatly welcome. Foscam has this in their app and it's about the only thing IN their app that works and has been useful. I like OWLR overall way more but the lack of sound alerts keeps it from being my preferred camera app.

Edit default record time for motion detection
I love the. gif files I get when the motion detection option behind to record. I am fine with it being .gif but need it to be longer in duration, like for the duration of motion!
Makes no sense that even though the is still motion, it does not get captured. Or option to record actual low-res video instead?

Enable Zoom and Optical zoom for cameras
E.g Zoom for the R2
52 votesCurrently re-writing all of our scripts. Once we’ve done this should be easy to add this feature.

Alert Zones
Would be great if we could "color in" a part of the camera's view where we want motion alerts to come from. That way I could exclude the window with the waving branches, or the busy street out front.
51 votesThis feature is planned as well – it requires a bit of work on both the camera interface, our app interface and our server interface. But it is in the pipeline for more control.

Dark mode
Have a dark mode for the app. I use this for viewing baby cams at night. The white UI bits are too bright at night.
19 votesOh, I do love a dark theme myself. Won’t be high priority but love the idea

Amcrest Camera Support
Amcrest cam's are the most popular wifi camera's on Amazon at the moment and appear to be owned by Foscam.
278 votesPlease see the latest list of Amcrest supported cameras here: https://owlr.uservoice.com/knowledgebase/articles/458563-supported-cameras-for-owlr-apps.
Which other specific Amcrest Cameras would you prefer to be added?

Add Controls
You folks just added alerts. Great, but what we really need for Foscam cameras is the ability to turn certain settings on / off like motion detect so we can send our own alerts through the camera's own funtionality. Turn it on when needed, off when not. A couple other basic setting switches would also be nice. Not sure why I would pay a monthly fee to send alerts through your system? Add needed functionalty and I'll gladly pay for the app.
5 votesThanks for that. We are working on Motion Alerts Scheduler. Coming soon.

Support Other Camera Account Privillages
Original title - Viewing cameras without needing adminstrator rights
Hey Daniel here - Just merged this idea with few duplicates, makes it easer for my to reply to everyone. I've also tweaked the title to make it more generic for all cameras rather than just Foscams.
It should be possible to set up/view Foscam camera streams for example as "operator" or "guest" as well and not only with "administrator" rights. This would be much more secure.

I have merged a few other ideas into this one, makes it easier for me to reply to you all!
We know this is a potential problem for some – we have needed to revamp the authentication features for the iOS app – which we are still addressing. It definitely something we are looking into though!

Snooze from phone notification
Similar to reminder notifications, the motion alert notification should include the option to snooze alerts for X minutes.
4 votesYou can mute your Push Notifications on your camera.

For sd card enabled cameras build a control to review the last x (configurable) minutes of video.
For sd card enabled cameras build a control to review the last x (configurable) minutes of video. Would also be nice to play back at something other than real time.

Remove World Cameras
Any way to remove the public webcams from the app? It gives me a HUGE false since of security to see all these camera feeds along side my personal cameras.
46 votesWe have had too many people complain if we remove the World Cameras – but we will likely offer it in the Advanced Settings in the future.

Background Audio - Play audio when app is closed
I Love this app. I do wish, for those of us who use their cameras as baby monitors, that it had the ability to provide audio for the camera even when the app is minimized and the screen is locked similar to what Pandora does. I know I don't want my screen on all night while I am watching a sleeping baby.
69 votesUPDATE 6/12/2016:
We are aware of this – and it will require a rework of the video player to support the audio separate from the video and to be able to keep the battery use at a minimum.
We actually have someone looking at this right now. So we are one step closer to implementing this feature
